Where is the Outrage? Critical Pedagogies in Dark Times . Personally, I want to address how very eye-opening was listening to this lecture because it gave me reasons that made me question the way I am teaching the classes at school where I work and the way I was taught back during my school years. How the education I received at school was in a very similar to the one that Dr. Giroux explained how education is conceived nowadays. He stated that education has become a pathway to the job and that schools have become training centers that measure the knowledge through a metric system. Rather than studying to find a job, it is crucial to understand and overcome the crisis that the country is immersed in. Reflaction based on a video from Youtube about stereotypes in Latin America https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqY3nN4Et7M   Latin America is very known place to have a countless list stereotypes and even some of them are even disrespectful to some people that are part of this huge community. But how some of these stereotypes are made? Well, many of them because of the behavior of some Latin Americans on foreign lands. Some people tend to behave in a way that make others think of Latin Americans in general in that way. I would say that sadly some of these stereotypes are true but some others are kind of good.
